It's the same routine each morning. A wrinkled shirt, a necktie, a name badge, a hollow smile. Conference calls and sales campaigns. They tell me it's not telemarketing, it's teleconsulting. They tell me clients are grateful when you sell them products they never asked for, they don't need. They tell me I have potential, that I could be a leader if I didn't let the other things get in the way. They tell me I could be so much more, but my mouth is shut, my thoughts held back behind a facade that's brittle and exhausted.
